• Why Birds Benefit Us

Birds enable a healthy ecosystem and economic value for humans.

    Black and White Bird

A 2018 study in the journal BioScience found that hearing birds sing and being connected with nature improves mental well-being.  That’s why we encourage you to connect with the bird building collision issue. We don’t want birdsong in our urban backyards to diminish because of an issue that is human-created.

We also invite you to volunteer or partner with us, or start a FLAP-like program in your community.

And if you have questions about us and our work, or want to learn how to keep birds safe, we have a plethora of answers to questions that may be relevant for you.
