You can now record bird strikes into a global database from wherever you are in the world. The Global Bird Collision Mapper (GBCM) is an online geo-mapping tool that enables registered users to record the location, status, and species of each bird they recover. A photo of each bird can also be uploaded as part of the report. This community science tool shows every collision report on its interactive GIS map. Your participation will help demonstrate the magnitude of the problem and inspire further development of effective preventative measures and standards designed to protect bird species.
