Since 1993, FLAP Canada has been a tireless voice for birds, driving change through our education, policy development, research, and bird rescue work. Every gift helps to fuel our fight to create a bird-safe built environment and protect birds from a leading cause of death.

Ways to Donate

Canada Helps

e-Transfer

Send us a donation via email, directly from your bank to ours.

It is fast, free, and we can immediately put 100% of the donation towards helping birds.

Here’s how to do it:

Navigate to your online bank account
find the “Send via INTERAC e-Transfer” option
Add FLAP Canada as a recipient and use flap@flap.org as our contact information to send by email
If you are required to use a security question, please choose something that we can guess easily. We suggest “What year was FLAP founded?” Answer: “1993”.
IMPORTANT: please include your full name, mailing and email addresses in the message section to receive a charitable tax receipt
You’ll get a confirmation email from your bank that we have receive the funds.

Leave a Legacy of Safe Flight

A legacy gift to the Fatal Light Awareness Program (FLAP) is a lasting contribution toward a vibrant, bio-diverse future.

FLAP’s vision of a world vivid with bird song is your vision too. Your bequest to FLAP will keep our bird conservation programs strong, our reserves topped up, and our responsiveness to emergencies vigorous and timely.

Suggested Language for Your Will

For a Fixed Amount:

“I will give to the Fatal Light Awareness Program, 31 Adelaide Street East, Box 430, Toronto, Ontario, M5C 2J5, Canada, the sum of $ ____________ to be used in such a manner as the Board of Directors of the Fatal Light Awareness Program shall, at its discretion, determine.”

For a Percentage of your Estate:

“I will give to the Fatal Light Awareness Program, 31 Adelaide Street East, Box 430, Toronto, Ontario, M5C 2J5, Canada, ________% of my estate to be used in such a manner as the Board of Directors of the Fatal Light Awareness Program shall, at its discretion, determine.”

For the Residue of your Estate:

“I will give to the Fatal Light Awareness Program, 31 Adelaide Street East, Box 430, Toronto, Ontario, M5C 2J5, Canada, the rest and residue of my estate to be used in such a manner as the Board of Directors of the Fatal Light Awareness Program shall, at its discretion, determine.”
